Follow Up Consultation
After you take a remedy we’ll wait approximately 10 weeks to allow it to act. We will discuss the best plan at the initial consultation. For most cases, a follow up consultation is around the ninth week. It is always best that you keep a record, diary of any significant changes as well any recurrent dreams during this time. If you have urgent questions or any concerns, you can reach me by email or phone.
When we meet again we’ll evaluate what changes have taken place. If there’s been a positive shift on the mental, emotional, or physical level, then we may continue to wait and watch further unfolding of the healing response or possibly repeat the remedy. If there hasn’t been a noticeable positive effect, then we’ll explore everything further, which will help to define more clearly whether a different remedy is needed or not.
Follow ups are a very important part of treatment. No matter what your response to the remedy, close monitoring of your progress will assure that things stay on track. These homeopathic consultation usually take about 40 minutes.
Acute problems
What are acute problems?
Acutes illnesses or injuries have an unexpected onset and normally resolve on their own in a short amount of time, as opposed to chronic diseases develop over a long period and never go away completely without treatment.
Colds, influenza, sore throats, insect stings, cuts, bruises, food poisoning, pulled muscles, and short-term insomnia are all examples of acute conditions that can be treated with homeopathy.
Well-chosen remedies will speed up the natural healing response; they don’t kill germs or suppress or mask symptoms. And just as with chronic ailments, it’s the individuality of your symptoms, both emotional and physical, that determine the best remedy.
As your chronic treatment goes along, at some point during the treatment you may be interested in buying a homeopathic first aid kit so that you have the most commonly used acute remedies on hand. Then when you’re not feeling well, you won’t have to search for a health food shops. This is a great convenience and usually cheaper in the long run than buying individual remedies!
